Yo-Yo, Midwest! What's up?
Los Angeles – I start work tonight. What job did I finally accept? Barnes and Noble. I didn't move out here to work at Barnes and Noble. I moved out here to work at Borders, but they're not hiring.

It's not that the job market is so bad. There are jobs, I even apply for some of them. It's just not easy to land a good job right away. So, I'm working part time at Barnes and Noble, and then writing and illustrating in my spare time. The rest of my effort will go to a new musical, which debuts in June.

In spite of (or maybe because of) minimal work, I'm happy. I'm also writing more. I'll start posting scripts and stories. Here's one:

BIENVENIDO A MIAMI!

or The Rubberneck... I'm Boots, your international collaborator. I used to be just an avid reader of the Rubberneck, but now I am an actual contributor! Ok, so I haven't honestly read an ENTIRE issue cover to cover, but who has? That's like reading a whole book or something.

So I'm living in Mendoza, Argentina, and I will be through the Summer, so expect some hilarious cultural-shocking hijinks to be reported. Like how you have to wait in line to do absolutely everything and everyone is speaking Spanish or some shit. Hey at least the economy sucks so everything is cheap for me!

Anyway, with each of my blog installments, you will receive a photo, or una foto of my travels. I think that pictures are better than words anyway.

That's all you get for now.

Stench Stains
I love watching dogs lick their private parts. They're always so solemn and careful. It's one of the reasons I hate having to scold Georgia for it, but she makes it necessary because she almost always does it on the couch, which leaves some horrid smelling stains after she is finished. The same goes for cats, though with them it's more than enough to just see them grooming their coats.

Welcome.

We're a blog, which is better than our previous distribution method: a box stored in a closet. When this whole project started, the first time, there was a debate about the name. It was between "The Rubberneck" and "The Derelict." A vote was taken, a secret vote. "The Rubberneck" won. It didn't take long for the Rubberneck to become derelict, but now it's back online.

Most of the credit should be handed to others. I'm still here though. I'll be adding some Shane in LA posts next week. It might even be available as a video podcast.

Other videos and scripts and such should follow, maybe even a comic. It should only take another year or so to get my stuff in order, I'll get back to you.

Welcome!

Hey superfans! I feel so grateful to be given the honor of christening this blog and being the first to welcome you to the site. We have so much great stuff brewing, you couldn't even imagine.

Bonnie completed editing the first Dan Tye the Science Person episode, and it's terrific. I think you'll all enjoy it.

Is it just me, or is Adam Brody our generation's C. Thomas Howell?

Bonnie and I have come up with two more Bonnie & Ted sketches this week; along with two that have been shot and need edited, and two others that have yet to be shot, you're going to overdose on so much wonderful B&T action in the next few months you'll probably make the good kind of sick all over yourself.

Lots of updates and changes coming soon, including the ability to comment on this very blog. As the resident amateur webmaster, I might actually let my collegues know how to post blog entries soon. Until then, though, consider this a private little chat, just between friends.

I cannot stress enough how lucky I feel to be the first blog poster. I feel like it really helps us bond as genius (me) and adoring readership (you).

From my family's heart(s) to yours, welcome.

Welcome!

Hey everyone! It's happened. It's finally happened. We've gone live.

As of tonight, I've officially wrapped up production on the first Dan Tye the Science Person short: Ecosystems. It's basically the same as the rough draft posted via YouTube, just with a bit more pizzazzzz. But regardless, new content! Always working! Always updating!

Ted and I will hopefully be reuniting this weekend to shoot some more Bonnie & Ted shorts.

We will be updating at a respectable pace, however in August this bitch is gonna blow.

Loves!
